Lipstick to Crayons was created by two sisters “joined at the hip” despite living miles apart. Different in many ways, yet both full of an energetic drive to create, design, and start projects (and browse the internet any chance they get!). Six kids between them, yet they still yearn to maintain their “hip & stylish” former selves.

Fab Finds Friday

We have found some really fab and unique finds for this week and are especially ga-ga over the cute dresses from the two ladies behind Bonnie & Evelyn. Their dresses are inspired by and named after their grandmothers. Each is made of vintage patterns or vintage inspired fabric. They can also make an heirloom dress made out of fabric and notions from your family pieces such as a hankie, tablecloth, or old skirt. So very sweet!

TruKid is a new, all natural skin care line made just for kids. Their line includes natural sunscreen, soaps, moisturizers, lip balm and a wonderful “Hero stick”. All their products are truly natural and chemical free and are wrapped with information to teach kids how to take care of their skin. They are currently running a special offer to receive a free Trukid Music CD with your first order of the Healthy Habits Pack.

Our next two fab finds are quite unique and fun. The first is tiny tees and other goodies with Braille from Bitty Braille. Their collection is custom handcrafted by the owner/designer. Bitty Braille tees feature simple “kid-friendly” words set in Braille type in either sparkly faceted metal studs for girls or simple metal studs for boys. The translation is hand-embroidered underneath in a simple print or cursive. They make great gifts for showers, birthdays or whenever a unique gift is needed. Bitty Braille also offers blankets, charms, and hair clips. Ten percent of every sale is donated to the American Foundation For The Blind.

Last but not least is a mouse from Mousenvy that will jazz up your computer. They don’t care if you are naughty or nice, crazy or conservative, geeky or sheek– they’ve got a mouse for you. They also make a great gift!
