Fab Friday Green Finds

wipes3.jpgRemember me? I’m the avocado mom who loves (part-time) cloth diapering and reusable baby wipes. Well, I’m back with a few more Fab (green) finds for you!

My fave online mom shop is Honeychunks, and it’s my go-to for my cloth diapering needs. Not only does the mompreneur running the site offer Fuzzi Bunz diapers, she also makes her own reusable cloth baby wipes and foaming cleanser for baby’s bottom. Seriously, it’s like, the best one-stop shopping ever, and you don’t even have to waste any precious gas to get to and from the store!

Wait, let me back up since I may have lost you.

“Reusable what?” you ask?

Don’t worry, I’m not suggesting you re-wipe that little hiney with a dirty wipe. Rachel Mayer, owner of Honeychunks, offers eye-catching designs and plenty of fabrics to choose from for cloth wipes designed to be used and then tossed in the wash with your diapers. Simple as that.

But if you’re gonna go “green” to protect the environment and reduce waste with reusable wipes, you can’t get very far in cleaning up without the Honey Chunks Foaming Cleanser created by Mayer. The all-natural foamy organic mix is all hand-made. Simply squirt the yummy-smelling stuff to moisten the wipe, clean baby up, and toss the wipe in the wash!

And if your baby is a bit grown-up, you can still get plenty of use from the foaming cleanser and wipes when out at the park or stopping by the local ice cream shop to clean dirty faces and hands.

  1. I am rather glad that my baby is no longer in need of diapers, but I sure would’ve loved these!
