If I could just go back in time the Minutemen way GIVEAWAY!
Have you ever wished you could go back in time and “re-do” an embarrassing moment? That is exactly what the characters do in Disney’s latest DVD release, Minutemen. Three teen boys figure out how to time travel with a combination of ordinary objects including computers, a microwave, a slide projector, and a diving board. Within a ten minute window the boys can fix their mistakes of the recent past before returning to the present.
Of course their time traveling escapades aren’t without issues and each time travel puts a tear in space and a near end to the world. Predictably there is a love triangle and plenty of stereotyping and bullying of high school students that all works out in the end.
Overall Minutemen is a very entertaining flick. My kids watch it over and over and I have not minded watching it a few times myself. My husband even watched the movie to the end after our kids fell asleep after the bazillionth time watching. ~Kristie
We are giving away a copy of the Disney’s recently released Minutemen DVD to two lucky winners.
Leave a comment on this post to be entered in the giveaway.

I’d love to fix the time I tried sneaking out of a faculty meeting, and tripped on my chair, landing on the floor!!!
Comment by Lee Klein on 2 June 2008:
My kids loved this movie. I’d love to be able to go back in time and skip those relationships that were so detrimental to my self esteem.
Comment by Marilyn Wons on 2 June 2008:
When I met my husband-to-be’s family for the first time, I bought a new outfit to look my best. Unfortunately I left the price and size tag hanging out of my rear end. I would cut the tag off if I could go back in time, or just wear an outfit that I already had!
Comment by Jason Vaughn (4 comments.) on 2 June 2008:
I’d go back to the to the time in second grade where I just didn’t make it to the bathroom in time.

I’d love to go back to when I was a scorekeeper for the high school wrestling team and wore that skirt to the district meet, the skirt with back seam that slowly unraveled over the course of the day. I still blush when I remember that day.

I’d love to fix when my mom fell flat on her face at my wedding. She was the only one on the dance floor and she had had too much to drink. The bad thing is that my in-laws’ family doesn’t drink at all.

Oh gosh, I have so many embarrassing moments. One of them was when I was when I was at work and I bent down and my scrubs split.
Comment by Linda Moeller on 2 June 2008:
Most embarrassing moment….our plumber was working on the main sewer line. Apparently, tampons are NOT as flushable as we’d like to think. As he removed them one by one, he said plumbers refer to them as “little white mice.” I was about 19 and, of course, this was done with my father and brother present. GEESH!

If I could go back, I would have not worn the heels I had on when I about 6ish months pregnant, we were walking into the restraunt and the heel snapped! Talk about embarassing! Good thing I had flip-flops in the car! lol
Comment by Beverley Justice on 3 June 2008:
Once, when I was much younger, I was very eager to greet my new husband properly. It was his habit to arrive every night at the same time on the dot. I heard footsteps come quickly up our front porch. I ran to the door and flung it wide open, wearing nothing but a smile. UPS was delivering a package. That poor man turned around and ran back to his truck, put it in reverse, and almost ran into my husband’s car, spinning tires as he backed out onto the street. Sigh. If I could go back in time, I’d sure change that moment a mite…

Comment by JenO (4 comments.) on 4 June 2008:
I was sleeping in the nude when my water broke…with a severly prolapsed cord so we had to rush to the hospital. I walked into the emergency room with a towel between my legs, a winnie the pooh housecoat thrown over me and my sleep mask still on my forehead.
I could have at least removed the sleep mask and straightened my hair.
And we won’t go into the “shoulder/knee” position I got to ride thru the hospital displaying…er….everything.

The first place I worked had a single bathroom. Everyone that worked there knew that it was occupied if the door was closed so I got in the habit of not locking the door. This worked OK until a coworker’s husband needed to take the baby to the bathroom and walked right it on me. Eeeeek.

I’d love to do over the time I got presented with my 5 year pin at work– I had just come back after major surgery and the Supt. came into the office to give me my 5 yr. pin and at the time he reached out to congratulate me and shake my hand I had a mouth full of taffy. The bad part was the taffy was stuck to my upper denture so I could barely talk and be understood. How embarrasing.

In fifth grade I got my mood ring stuck in my braces and had to go to the front of the room and have my teacher try to remove my stuck ring and finger from my braces. Yes this really happened and 33 years later I am still scarred for life….plus it ruined a perfectly good mood ring!
Comment by Aimee Fontenot on 7 June 2008:

I’d love to see this movie. We love Disney flicks. As for embarrassing, I’m quite sure I’d like to take back that accidental toot I made in 9th grade English class. Not the best moment of my life.
Comment by Kathy Mullins (5 comments.) on 8 June 2008:
Great prize!! Disney puts out some really good movies.
My most embarrassing moment was when I was a senior in high school and I worked part time at a local hospital. I started my period without realizing it and stained my jeans quite badly. Much to my embarrassment I had to call my mom to bring me a pad, fresh pants and underwear. I thought I would die from embarrassment! If I could go back in time, I would have started my period at home, in the bathroom.

My moment I’d change….having breakfast with a friend’s family. I am meeting her cousin’s little baby for the first time. All comments to the baby are addressed to “Sunshine”, which I immediately assumed was a pet name for her. So, I say out loud “What is her real name?”. Sunshine is her real name. I’d go back and keep my thoughts to myself!!!
