Shades for the rich and beautiful

Last weekend at the YouthAIDS luncheon in LA, Emmy Rossum chose a pair of Alain MIkli shades as the perfect complement to her fall wardrobe. They retail for $545.
What do you think? Would you wear these or can only the rich and beautiful pull these off?

I’m all for big sunglasses but this is ridiculous. They are not flattering. They are too big for her face and the tinting makes her look cross-eyed (not that there’s anything wrong with that my cross-eyed friends!).
With her dark eyebrows arching over the top of the frames, she looks like Groucho Marx. All she needs now is a cigar.
