Mom Created Prima Princessa DVD
My daughter recently turned three and is suddenly all about ballerinas and princesses . We were thrilled to review this mom created DVD, Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake. I confess…. I really do not know what the story is behind Swan Lake, nor do I know the difference between a plie or a pirouette. This video wonderfully illustrated the basics of ballet while weaving in the story of Swan Lake (featuring the Paris Opera Ballet), with an animated fairy and real little girls dressed in pretty tutus. My daughter was mesmerized as was I (even my 5 year old son was captivated, but let’s keep that on the down low!) I was completely impressed by the quality and content. What is inside this delightful DVD, according to the creators: “The animated fairy ballerina, Prima Princessa, magically transports a group of pre-school girls to see the ballet Swan lake. Prima Princessa narrates the story of Swan Lake to the girls. In between acts, the children return home, dress up in fun pretty tutus and learn a simple ballet step. Each step is playfully shon mixed into a colorful montage of toys, animals, birds, children and yound dancers from the School of American Ballet.”
Makes a great gift for a little princess! You can purchase it at Prima Princessa

[...] Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake is a 40-minute DVD for children 3-7, with an animated fairy ballerina who magically transports a group of little girls to see the world famous Paris Opera Ballet perform Swan Lake. The show is cleverly abbreviated for kids and narrated beautifully by an adorable cartoon ballerina.
