Emotes Book and Plush review & giveaway

We’ve got a brand of toys and books that deserve a spot on your holiday shopping list.

Emotes are cyber-beings with human-like emotions who live inside the internet in the land of Emotia. Each one possesses a unique power that corresponds with their distinctive personality. For example, Abash is known as the “The Embarrassed” and has the power to become invisible. Cant is “The Frustrated”, and can pull his ears to become a fast moving pinball. The Emotes brand can be experienced through books, toys, and online adventures at Emotes.com.

We love the whole concept especially since we are currently dealing with the emotions of shyness, frustration, and bullying with our own achildren. Some emotions can be very scary and overwhelming for children and teaching them boundaries and self control can be difficult. Emotes are an empowering tool for helping children understand and manage their powerful emotions. The Emotes figurines and stuffed toys can also be a great teaching tool for special needs children.

We love the cyber-being theme of Emotes not only because it taps into the technological world that our children are growing up in but also because of its appeal to boys. Let’s be honest here, our society does not do a good job of teaching our boys about their feelings. The Emotes books and online games are so fun and interesting that children don’t realize they are actually learning important life lessons.

Celebrities Kelly Ripa, Kelsey Grammer, Kelly Rutherford, Gwen Stefani and Sarah Jessica Parker are also fans of Emotes.
