I’m a SmartShopper GIVEAWAY
I have been sent the coolest gadget to review, the SmartShopper Electronic Grocery List Organizer. The older I get and the more kids I added to my brood the more I’ve had to depend on lists. My problem is that my lists are not organized but mostly chicken scratch on several pieces of paper. No wonder I end up forgetting items on my lists! I also get so annoyed with my family telling me things they need me to get at the store. I’m always telling them to write it down. I’m not a human computer for crying out loud!
This is why the SmartShopper is a smart gadget for my family. I have it magnetically stuck onto the refrigerator door with its internal magnet. Now when myself or my family needs something added to my shopping list all they have to do is hit the record button and say the name of the item they need. It is preloaded with 2500 item names and also accepts custom items that I add. When I’m ready to go shopping all I do is hit the print button and my list is printed. The best part is that the items on my lists are put into categories which makes shopping and not forgetting easy.
The SmartShopper features:
- State-of-the-art voice recognition
- 2500 Pre-loaded items
- Built-in printer requires no ink cartridges
- Uses four standard AA batteries
- Built-in magnets for attaching to refrigerator
- Includes 3 paper rolls, wall mounting kit, item booklet, and instructions
You can purchase the SmartShopper for $79.99 and receive$5 off until December 31 with the promo code PP95551. Also, all orders placed between now and December 31 will receive free ground shipping (although be sure to order before December 18, if you want the SmartShopper by Christmas). It makes a great gift although men should refrain from buying this for their wife or girfriend if they want to stay out of the dog house!
We have one of these nifty little gadgets to give away to one lucky winner. Leave us a comment about why you or someone you know would want a SmartShopper.

#46 Deborah R on December 14, 2008:
My problem isn’t forgetting to put things on the list, or forgetting the list. But our list gets long, because we do “big” shopping only once each month, so it tends to be unorganized. So I’m always having to run back to several different aisles because I missed something on the list. The SmartShopper would eliminate this problem because it organizes your list for you.

This would be a welcome gadget in my home. My husband and kids never tell me when things run out. I think that with this, they would just push the button and say what we are out of (my kids would definately do this) and I wouldn’t have to keep trying to pull the information out of them before I go shopping. It would also eliminate all my scratched notes lying around my kitchen.

Oh, how I’d think I was in heaven if I went shopping with my list from the Smartshopper. I might even like making a shopping list with this gadget !
We have four children, three cats, two dogs, 10 ducks, a goose, and lots of fish…I can assure you, we always run out of something in between shopping trips, no one writes it down, and we forget when we get to the store. The Smartshopper would put a stop to that, as I’m sure this kids and even my hubby would have a blast recording what they want or what we need.
My life would be so much more simplified and I would be extremely grateful to own it !
Thank you so very much for a wonderful giveaway. I would love to blog, twitter, etc. to get additional entries, but I just simply don’t have my own blog, or twitter and such….sorry about that. I will however pass your site on by word of mouth and email a link to your site.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas !!

I want one of these because I always feel lost and overwhelmed at the grocery store.
#155 Vanessa C. on December 19, 2008:
I would love to win this as when I get to the store I usually buy way more than I intend to! I am so disorganized! Great giveaway!
#156 Betty N on December 19, 2008:
I make the grocery list and my husband does the shopping…he won’t have to read my handwriting, I won’t have to rewrite lists by category,….Oh this would be great to have
#157 Dan Smith on December 19, 2008:
I like the idea of it printing and it not needing ink
#158 Susan Smith on December 19, 2008:
It will help me remember everything I go to the store for
#159 Kathy Conley on December 19, 2008:
I would love to have a smart shopper so that I could finally read the grocery list! Our handwriting isn’t the best in our house!
#160 Debby Lee on December 19, 2008:
My husband loves gadgets & handles the shopping. Perfect!!
#161 millie on December 19, 2008:

#162 Donald on December 19, 2008:
I would like this so I could maybe be better organized.
#163 Gina on December 19, 2008:
I would get more for my husband. He is the worst shopper. He could never go to the store and get what I want him to get, LOL.
#164 Danielle on December 19, 2008:
My mom could really use this. Everytime she goes to the grocery store she has misplaced her list or forgets something from it!
#165 chris swan on December 19, 2008:
I need lots of organization with my shopping lists. This is exactly what I need.
#166 Carissa on December 19, 2008:
I would like to have this because you can just record what you need instead of writing it down every time you think of an item.
#167 Carissa on December 19, 2008:
I subscribe.
#168 Donna on December 19, 2008:
I would love to have this. I keep a grocery list on the fridge but sometimes when I am in a hurry I can’t read my own writing.

This would make grocery shopping so much easier. I am constantly leaving important items off my list and an extra trip to the store with two little ones is no easy task.
#174 Bonnie P on December 19, 2008:
I never knew these existed! I could think of a million reasons why this would help me. #1 is that my husband writes like he’s a doctor and I can never tell what it is he wants me to buy. #2 is that I am always and forever forgetting something off of my list or forgetting to put it on my list to begin with. Mostly because my list is on the fridge and isn’t always where I am when I need to write on it! I think I’ll remember….but with age, I seldom do! Thank you for the opportunity!
#175 Bonnie P on December 19, 2008:
I was so excited over this handy gadget that I showed my husband. He said it woould make shopping so easy – he’d actually do the shopping himself! Please let me win so that my husband will have to do all the shopping!
#176 Beverley Justice on December 19, 2008:
It would make me look so organized. I’m not, but I could be, with this neat little gadget.
#177 Devon Weisz on December 19, 2008:
Id love to win this because hubby’s idea of grocery shopping is fast food from Wawa…he definitely needs a list!
#178 Jean D. on December 19, 2008:
My memory is TERRIBLE lately. It’s a common side-effect of medication I have to take. A SmartShopper sounds like just the thing to help me remember my shopping list each week. I get inside a store, and my brain goes blank. SOS!

#180 Anita Yancey on December 19, 2008:
I would like to have one because my memory is so bad. I always forget things when I go the grocery store. Then I usually remember them later after I get home, and I always get so mad at myself. I need something that will remind me.

Thanks for this great giveaway! I would love to own one of these, because yes, i am also one of those people that constantly forgets what i’m suppose to get at the store, until i get back home lol. Everyone here is always adding things that i need to get as well, but obviously it’s just too much to ask for anyone to write it onto a piece of paper for me lol. At least with this gadget i think no one would have a problem, clicking the record button and adding things to my list! Thanks again!
#183 Chrysa on December 19, 2008:
This would be so much more efficient than the methods I have tried!
#184 Hayley G. on December 19, 2008:
This would be great- I always get home and, without fail, I’ve forgotten one thing!
#185 Suzanne Lewis on December 19, 2008:

My mom and dad could really use this. They go to the supermarket a lot for various items and I know this would really come in handy. I hope I am able to surprise my parents with this one day. This is a great giveaway. Thanks.
#187 Angela Prater on December 19, 2008:
What an awesome tool. I would love to have one for me to help me stay (or get) organized.
#188 Catherine KingChuparkoff on December 19, 2008:
All too often I end up with several lists and never get them all together and end up forgetting items-this gadget is amazing.
#189 Isaac A. on December 20, 2008:
This item would save me a lot of money. Sometimes I go to the store to buy bread, milk, salt, etc. if I forget to buy 1 of these cheap items, I have to go shopping again, and I end up spending another 40 to 50 bucks, when the item I needed was under 3 dollars.
#190 Joy Venters on December 20, 2008:
could really use this – I hate shopping without a list – this is so convenient
#191 Tammy Kennedy on December 20, 2008:
How many things can I say I love about it, all of them. I have teens And their favorite thing is to tell me when I’m busy what they need o what fom the stoe and my numbe one saying in my house is:
GO WITE IT ON THE SHOPPING LIST..
which is hanging on our fridge. They never do, so we’re at the store and needless to say it doesn’t get purchased. My husbands comment if I send him to the store I didn’t see that wrote on the list. This would save my family nightmare as it seems so simple even my husband could do it.
Oh please make me a winner and save my grocery sanity.
Thank you
Happy Holidays.

i want this becasue every time we get back from the supermarket we realize that we forgot something and have to go bac or live without it, usually we don’t go back! so that’s usually like no soy milk for a week!

#202 Jason Lawless on December 20, 2008:
That is really cool – my wife would love it! She would want it because it would help her short term memory loss when it comes to going to Walmart what seems like 10 times per week!
#203 R Hicks on December 20, 2008:
This should help me immensely as I am getting more forgetful as I get older.
#204 Tarah on December 20, 2008:
This would prevent me from wandering around the grocery store trying to find everything on my list!
#205 Angie P. on December 20, 2008:
I could use this. When I think of something I need, or finish something out of the cupboard, I make a little note on the nearest piece of paper. Before I know it, I have four pieces of paper (purse, ‘frig, computer desk, etc.) that never all seem to come together.
#206 David Bertolo on December 20, 2008:
It would help me be better organized during grocery shopping which would mean less time spent shopping.

Thanks for the great giveaway
#210 Kimberly L on December 20, 2008:
I am terrible about getting things on my shopping list because I am forever looking for a pen to write things down. When I can’t find the pen, I ‘think’ I will remember – which is never the case as I am always forgetting to put something on that list. The voice recognition, and the printing of the list would decrease my forgetfulness, and would help me stay organized.

I am the one who needs this SmartShopper! With 3 young children, one being 5 months old, 2 dogs and a husband who counts as 2 people (LOL) I am forever getting to the grocery store or department store and forgetting to get something one of my family members told me to get. I have had to go back to the store on more occasions than I care to think about because I forgot to purchase something crucial that someone absolutely had to have! This would make my life so much easier and my shopping so much for efficient if I had this very nifty gadget! I would also be much more organized in my visits to the grocery store and have some peace of mind! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.
