Ouaker’s Inaugural Viewing Breakfast Gathering
I’m two days late with this post but wanted to share video and photos from the Ouaker’s Inaugural Viewing Breakfast Gathering I attended.
Quaker Oats invited 15 bloggers across the nation to host Inaugural viewings and Dana Loesch was one of those 15 and invited me to her gathering. We were the only conservative gathering and I was thrilled to view the Inauguration with others who share my views.
Quaker Oatmeal chose Inauguration Day to raise awareness for the “Start with Substance” campaign which is encouraging families to start 2009 off with wholesome, affordable Quaker Oatmeal and help “fuel it forward” to less fortunate families. From January 12 through February 28, consumers can visit www.startwithsubstance.com to enter the UPC (barcode) from any variety of Quaker hot cereal; for every UPC entered, Quaker will donate a bowl of nutritious oatmeal to Share our Strength, up to 1 million bowls of oatmeal. (You must be a member of Facebook in order to enter UPCs.)
Here’s a photo of me and Kelli that I stole from Dana. The adorable baby isn’t mine. Now that I’m done baby making I “borrow” a baby whenever I can. You can see more of Dana’s photos here.

KSDK sent Ryan Dean to cover the story.
Here’s the piece that ran on the news that evening.

How cool! It must have been nice to be surrounded by fellow conservatives. I almost had to “go offline” to get away from all the liberal gushing and blushing.
