I keep in mind that getting older means you have survived. One thing I did was to stop any form of tanning, solar or mechanical. It’s very detrimental to your looks and is a cancer risk.

#80 Teresa S. on March 15, 2009:
With age comes “wisdom” which I like. But, the wrinkle and sagging skin is horrible. I drink half my body weight in water each day. This seems to plump my skin and wash out the toxins.
#81 Kathy Scott on March 16, 2009:
I have been using AminoGenesis Therapeutic Facial Repair Formula. I would like to try some of their other products.
#82 joanna smith on March 17, 2009:
Age is a state of mind, and if you possess a strong sense of inner confidence and happiness, it will allow you shine and glow from within! I don’t ever settle for being ordinary, but rather I find passion in constantly seeking opportunities for bringing out the best in me that I possibly can by being open to participating in new activities and trying new things to keep myself feeling young at heart and feeling great about the way I look. Whether this means revamping my workout routine and kicking it up a notch, or experimenting with new beauty products to redfine and bring out my best facial features, this keeps me aging fabulously! I think we all look into that mirror and still see ourselves as that bright eyed 16 year old that we once were and if you live your life with that same carefree, light hearted spirit that you had back when you were 16 you will live a much more content and satisfying life!

I am 51 and have always looked young for my age that is until the last few years when I worked 3 jobs just to make ends meet and I never got enough sleep. So the most important thing for looking younger is adequate rest, water, your skin needs it and moisturizer.
#89 Melanie on March 17, 2009:
I wash my face in the morning, with facial scrubs, and it boosts my mood, and when Im ok happy, I look younger.
#90 dani on March 17, 2009:
I do not mind aging I will not inject poison in my skin or allow a doctor to cut. But I will try some products they may not have the same affect but I just like my face to feel smooth. I smile and that is how I stay young looking.
#91 Teresa L on March 17, 2009:

#92 cathleen nash on March 17, 2009:
I’m a little scared every time I pluck out a silver hair! Age isn’t that bad actually- you’re only as young as you feel! I try to eat healthy and relax when times get tough. I also do not smoke. Who wants to age prematurely because of smoking?! Thanks for the entry!

My skin is losing its elasticity, my hair ditto, age spots are appearing. While I appreciate the added wisdom that experienced years bring us, I’m not too keen on the physical aspects LOL
