Want to get your kids off the couch or a break from video games and do something creative? Not always an easy task in my house. My kids are so bored with Play-Doh and sidewalk chalk. We are always looking for hands-on alternatives that they will find fun plus encourage both creativity and educational development.

Powder Art is Crescent’s newest arts and crafts product that fits the bill. It’s a new twist on paint by numbers and a great activity for kids to explore their artistic abilities and build their reasoning and motor skills.

The innovative peel and paint art activity uses revolutionary dry paint powder made of recycled paper, instead of paint. Powder Art comes in six engaging, interactive, colorful design themes including Sports, Jungle Animals, Planes & Trains, Puppies & Kittens, Bible Stories and Magical Moments. They are also safe, non-toxic and washable.

Simply peel it, paint it, display it.

My kids love Powder Art so much that they finished two kits in a weekend. Even my three year old was able to paint her own once I peeled off the stickers for her. They also love the velvet-like feel to their finished art work.

Each Powder Art kit is complete with four design boards, eight Powder Art colors requiring no water, a paintbrush and color palette tray plus a color guide instruction sheet that allows kids to follow the color guide, or choose to create a customized picture.
