I feel like we are trying. We recycle all that the local recycle center takes: plastic, plastic bags, aluminum, cans, and paper. We recyle ink cartridges. We use CFL’s for all lights. We have replaced our dishwasher and refrigerator with EnergySmart appliances. We use recycled products whenever we can. We consign or donate all old clothes. We use a thermostat control and keep our temp 68 in winter 78 in summer. We wash all laundry in cold water, and hang quite a bit to dry. We are trying a garden. I know we could do more and we will but I am proud of the efforts made thus far.
