    Thanks

  286. I try to reduse my waste. It is amazing if you save what you throw out for lunch. We had the kids in my class do it and the amount of plastic and packaging was amazing. I do not use CFL lights becuase of the mercury and very expensive to clean if the light break. Instead I turn on lights less only when I have to.

Our water bills have shrunk and our garden (which grows all of our herbs and even some vegtables) has never looks greener! We don’t have a single ’standard’ light bulb in our house either. Programmible thermostat too! That alone saved us well over $50 per month this winter, I’m really looking forward to seeing how much we save this summer too! Thanks for the seriously green giveaway!

  331. We faithfully recycle all that we can. And we are careful with our electric as well. It’s worth doing, because we want our Grandchildren to have a good world to live in.
