Herb-filled Fleece Blanket Giveaway

I don’t know about you, but all this talk about back-to-school flu prevention has me thinking about cold and flu season. I love the summer and I enjoy the fall, but I do not look forward to the cold winter months.  Perhaps this soft, herb-filled fleece wrap, which is good for hot or cold therapy, will ease the transition for one lucky Lipstick to Crayons reader.

This blanket is one of the many unique and practical items available at The Vermont Country Store. You can use this blanket to ease aches and pains, relieve stress or to shake off a chill. Filled with natural herbs such as chamomile, lavender, lemongrass, and yarrow, it heats up in minutes when placed in the microwave to provide deep, penetrating moist heat along with aromatherapy to relax both you and your muscles. It also can be placed in the freezer when cold therapy is needed to treat sprains or reduce swelling or bruising. Other details:

    One of my favorite areas of the Vermont Country Store is the food & candy. They have found quite a few things from my childhood and now carry them.

    Two years ago we ordered some of the pull toys for my grandson who was just learning to walk. He still likes pulling one along on our daily walks.

    I love the flannel blankets. I have 4 twin size blankets in the living room. we can all stretch out under our own blanket when we watch TV or movies.

    I love the Vermont Country Store — especially the foods they have. Their sugar-free fudge is pretty darned good. The whoopie pies are excellent (though the last batch I ordered got a bit crushed in the mail). And I always get my maple sugar candy from them. It’s pure maple sugar, unlike the “maple sugar candy” you find in the store, which is often cut with cane sugar to make it cheaper.
