Disney Releases Mickey & Pooh Holiday DVD’s
I know the Christmas holiday season is still a few months away, but when you’re ready, I think one of the best ways to get in the spirit is to watch a few holiday movies together. If you’ve got young ones who love Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh, then you should consider adding Disney’s recently released “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and “Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving 10th Anniversary Edition” to your holiday movie library.
Mickey’s Christmas Carol is a Disney adaptation fo the classic holiday tale. Ebeneezer Scrooge (Scrooge McDuck) is too greedy to undrestand Christmas and thus gets help from some wise ghosts and his clerk, Bob Cratchit (Mickey Mouse). The DVD also incudes several bonuses, including Pluto’s Christmas Tree and Santa’s Workshop. Suggested retail price is $19.99.
Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a
special edition available on DVD. The movie stars my favorite Pooh and the other beloved characters from the Hundred Acre Wood as they celebrate friendship, family and the true meaning of the holidays. My toddler and I really enjoyed this DVD and I’m sure it’s soon to be a “much-demanded” source of entertainment in my house.
The DVD includes two Pooh epiosdes (The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Magic Earmuffs” and “The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Wishing Bear” plus five songs and a collectible Christmas stocking. Suggested retail price is $29.99.
Both of these DVD’s would make great stocking stuffers, or early holiday presents that can be enjoyed in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
