Grow Your Eye Lashes Giveaway
I have a friend who has eyelashes that are so long that I was sure they were fake. When I finally got up the nerve to ask her about them, she told me she uses LashFood and that her amazing eyelashes were HER amazing eyelashes. So, I was thrilled when LashFood contacted me and offered to let me try their product.
I’ve been using LashFood now for about eight weeks, and lo and behold, my eyelashes now almost reach my eyebrows! I am very pleased with the results.
LashFood is an all natural eyelash conditioning stimulant that contains vitamins and herb extracts to promote longer, stronger and thicker lashes. I have found all of these “promises” to be true, plus one I hadn’t expected — my mascara has more staying power. I don’t know if it’s a result of the LashFood, or if it’s simply because my eyelashes are thicker, but I’m liking it.
LashFood comes in a tube with an applicator similar to a liquid eyeliner applicator. You brush it on along your lash lines like you would liquid eyeliner in the mornings and evenings. Once it dries, you can apply makeup right over the top of the product.
I didn’t think I was noticing results right away, but once I did start seeing results (about five weeks into using the product), I noticed big results. So, maybe my eyelashes were growing and thickening and I just didn’t realize it until the results were SO obvious. According to the company, most people see results in two to four weeks, with full results showing up in two to three months.
LashFood is a registered product with the FDA, can be used with lash extensions, can be used by chemotherapy patients but isn’t recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing. It can also be used on eyebrows.
Is there a downside to LashFood? Yes. It’s expensive and your results are dependent upon you continuing to use the product. One tube costs $120, but it’s supposed to last about five months with twice-a-day applications.
Fortunately, one lucky Lipstick to Crayons reader can win a tube for free by entering the contest below.

I would love to have longer and thicker lashes because mine are so short and stubby. When I use mascara, when I take it off, my eyelashes always fall out. So I never use mascara anymore. If my eyelashes were strong and long enough to look nice without mascara, that would truly be a miracle!
#2 Sharon B on November 23, 2009:
I have large eyes, but very thin lashes and pale, thin eyebrows. I try to compensate with eye makeup, but it is hard to fake having nice eyelashes. I have heard good things about this product, and would love to see how I would look – finally- with some thicker lashes.

Oh where oh where did my lashes go. I’ve never had very long lashes, but they were thick and it was easy to apply mascara. In April of 2004 I found out I had correctol cancer, which of course came a total of 3 major surgeries, chemo on two seperate occasions & many side effects. My second regiment of chemo came within a year of my first and it took a huge toll on my body. I lost most of my long hair and almost all my lashes. My hair came back better tan ever, but my lashes stayed so short and very thin that it was impossible to even apply mascara without getting it all over my eyelids so I just gave up. I came to realize that my health was more important than having lashes and I thank God everyday that 5 1/2 years I’m still here. But theres always going to be a part of me that wants to look the best I can to feel attractive once again and we all know the first step is creating eyes that stand out and the rest follows. Staying healthy, looking and feeling good about yourself plays a major roll in how you feel about yourself. I’m 55 years old and even though I been through a lot and still suffer major chronic pain of my abdomen I still feel young at heart. If just for awhile I could create beautiful eyelashes I once had my confidence level would go sky high.
Remembering the days I felt good about myself.

My eyelashes have gotten thin in the past few years and the mascara doesn’t seem to help like it used to. Lipstick and mascara are all I wear so it’s important to me to have the lashes full, strong and long. The product sounds so promising and I’m really glad you’re getting good results. I would not miss an application if I had it…nice prize, thanks.

Unfortunately I have thin short lashes.
I’d love to have some long lush lashes!

I’ve never been able to wear mascara, so my lashes need all of the help that they can get, just to be visible.

My lashes have always been short and I’ve always dreamed of having long, thick ones. Why do the guys always get the beautiful lashes? It isn’t fair!

I would LOVE to have long, thick, lashes. My eyes are small and kinda squinty (especially when I smile.) I would love to have them look bigger.
Thank you Lipstick to Crayons and LashFood.
