Honor party hosts with great gifts for the home

Deanna shower decor I was so fortunate last weekend to be one of the hosts of a baby shower for my good friends Dee & Jason, who are expecting their first little one. The party was a fantastic time.

I had so much fun choosing a cake and planning the table decorations, while my co-host Brook made some incredible cookies for favors (see at right).

But what I most wanted to share here was the incredible hostess gift that Dee found for us at Crate & Barrel.

I was stunned when I unwrapped these gorgeous Oslo Crystal Candleholders. The photo just doesn’t do these beauties justice. They are incredibly elegant and I can’t Oslo Crystal Tealights C&B with background-2wait to use them as part of a centerpiece with my white and platinum china.

I’d also like to incorporate them into a winter-themed mantel decoration I’m working on, although I still haven’t quite figured that out.

Here’s the C&B description: Cubist candlelight in brilliant lead crystal with polished, beveled edges. Modern architectural candleholders in three sizes stand strong alone or cluster beautifully.

You can buy these as a set ($37) or individually (from $9.95 to $19.95).

Wherever I use these, they will be beautiful. Thanks to Deanna for a such wonderful gift.

Although I do think these candle holders were just about perfect, I do have some other suggestions for great home-related hostess gifts. Check out some of these options:
