And I love to save money (and help you do the same) via frugal deals and steals, coupons and other thrifty practices. My freelance writing business allows me to enjoy the great balance of being a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom, while also making time for blogging, running (ran the Chicago Marathon twice) some amateur photography and scrapbooking. I’m a St. Louis native, although I have lived outside of the city and the state. A few of my passions are amateur photography, scrapbooking and attending kids' sporting events.

Meet the Double Duty Divas

I want to take just a minute to introduce a brand new site on the Web – Double Duty Divas. This site is a blog network of which I am proud to be a part! The network was started by two brilliant women — Cecelia, an English teacher and author of Cool Baby Picks and Bridgette, a scientist and author of  The Experimental Mommy.

These women wanted to help connect some of the best product review blogs on the Web, and they had learned the challenges and benefits of working, being a Mom and blogging all at the same time (maybe we should call it “triple duty”?), so they wanted to share their knowledge and experience. Out of those circumstances, they founded Double Duty Divas as a network of bloggers who are looking for great companies to partner with on review campaigns. Our site includes some great advice for Moms and bloggers, links to other great sites that Moms might find helpful, giveaway, tips and information helpful to new bloggers and veterans, and much more.
