Hair Accessory Giveaway – CLOSED

feature photo

When you have longer hair, you’re always looking for ways to pull it up or pull it back – especially when warm weather arrives. I’ve got my boring  ponytail holders and my basic, neutral-colored butterfly clips — neither of which scream style or fashion. But now, thanks to Flexi8, I’ve got several fashionable hair accessories that let me create a lot of different hair styles.

The Flexi 8 is a unique, flexible barrette shaped like an “8″ that holds thick, thin, curly, straight, fine and coarse hair. Iknow: you’re thinking “My hair is too fine, or too thin or too whatever. Hair accessories never work for me.” Well, the folks at Flexi8 thought of that and the Flexi8 comes in a variety of sizes and hundreds of ever changing styles. Flexi 8 uses an ingenious patented locking mechanism to secure it in your hair, regardless of thickness or texture. And, Flexi8 even provides hairstyle instructional videos to help you choose the right size and learn how to create gorgeous styles using their accessory.

I’ve used my Flexi8 accessories to create a simple half ponytail and a fancier French twist like the one pictured here. In both cases, the instruction videos were very helpful in figuring out how to best hold the hair and the Flexi8, and how to secure the attached pin.

When choosing a Flexi8, there are a few things you need to keep in mind:

  • Almost all women over-estimate the size they will need.
  • You may want to choose different sizes for different styles (I used the extra-small for my half ponytail, and a medium for my French twist).
  • Watch the sizing video to choose your size.

Flexi8’s range in price from $9.99 to $24.99, but one lucky Lipstick to Crayons reader can win three Flexi8 clips of their choice by entering the contest below.
