I'm Michelle Cox -- the owner of Lipstick to Crayons. I’m also a Mom to three kids (a teen, tween and toddler), a professional writer (www.michellemcox.com) and a blogger (www.fromthemom.com). And I love to save money (and help you do the same) via frugal deals and steals, coupons and other thrifty practices. My freelance writing business allows me to enjoy the great balance of being a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom, while also making time for blogging, running (ran the Chicago Marathon twice) some amateur photography and scrapbooking. I’m a St. Louis native, although I have lived outside of the city and the state. A few of my passions are amateur photography, scrapbooking and attending kids' sporting events.

Photo Books Free or Almost Free

feature photo

I LOVE to scrapbook, and I have all the fancy tools to do so, including the most amazing tool: the Cricut die cut machine. But sometimes, I just don’t have the time to make a “hand-made” scrapbook. That’s where online photobook making sites come into play.

Recently, I’ve found a few great deals to let me make custom photobooks for free or almost free. Here they are:

You’ll have to hurry on this one because it expires on 3/21!  First, go here (Target photo) and register and get 50 FREE 4×6 prints from Kodak. After you get your 50 FREE prints in your account, you can create your FREE 5 x 5.75 pocket photo book from Target by using the  code TGTFREEBOOK at checkout. Pay $1.99 S&H.

Hot Prints is offering a free Hot Book photo book (valued at $3.99) for free, as well as free shipping. Apparently, they don’t even ask for your credit card information — just that you create a free account!  Go here to check out this offer.

And Picaboo is offering new customers a big, leather-bound free book using the code AFFLGB (which I think is only good until March 31.)

This is a 20-page, large classic leather or  custom book valued at $39.99. You will have to pay shipping of about $8.99. Still, a great deal. I’m working on mine right now. I’m also working on a book over at Adoramapix — a really cool book-making site that is new to me. Once I’m done, I’ll let you know how I like that company, as well.

Let me know if you take advantage of any of these offers, or if you know of any others! This is a great (and less time consuming way) to preserve family memories. They also make GREAT GIFTS for graduation or Mother’s Day!

Long live the Coupon!
