Welcome Attention Target Shoppers Visitors!
Hello and welcome to all of those who traveled over from Attention Target Shoppers, Money Saving Mom and Deal Seeking Mom! I’m Michelle Cox, author/owner of Lipstick to Crayons and I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’re new here, be sure to surf around — most easily done by using the tabs at the top of the page. And make sure you check out my current giveaways – a Liz Lange Diaper Cluth and week’s supply of Pampers and $150 to $300 toward a quilt by Campus Quilts! You absolutely MUST see the photos of the quilt they made for me out of my kids’ baby clothes. It is easily my most-prized material possession besides my wedding/engagement ring! I’ve got a few other giveaways coming in the next few weeks, so be sure to subscribe to my feed via email in the upper right sidebar.
If you’re one of my regular readers, head on over to Attention Target Shoppers and read my guest post there today (publishes at noon) which chronicles in detail just what I’m doing to live much more frugally these days. I’m a big fan of the site and discovered its value in my Journey Toward Frugality. And expect more and more frugal-living content on this site as I continue in that journey.
Maybe we can learn together if you’re just starting out, too. If so, let me know how it’s going for your and what great resources you’re finding to help you along the way!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to leave a comment. You also can email me at lipsticktocrayons@gmail.com, or read more about me here.

I read your guest post and thought that it was terrific! I agree that if I was to have jumped into the “frugal” way of living with both feet, I would probably not have continued with it as it is a LOT of work and it can be overwhelming at first. The rewards though are instant and I really like that!!!!! We save more and we donate more now so it is a win-win even in this crappy economy.

I agree, Wendi — you see rewards right away! I’ve been surprised. And it’s great that you’re donating your savings. Keep it up!
