My freelance writing business allows me to enjoy the great balance of being a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom, while also making time for blogging, running (ran the Chicago Marathon twice) some amateur photography and scrapbooking. I’m a St. Louis native, although I have lived outside of the city and the state. A few of my passions are amateur photography, scrapbooking and attending kids' sporting events.

Appropriate Reading Material?

I haven’t gotten around to sharing my recent success (AMEN!) in potty training my toddler, but I will. There are a few funny stories to go along with it. But suffice it to say that we’re still very focused on the topic. I wasn’t paying attention and today my toddler brought her favorite book into a restaurant with her. The waiter said, “Great dinner time reading, eh?”

  1. That is too funny! LOL

  2. That picture is priceless. It should be published on the cover of some magazine with the headline – “How to Potty Train your child” as the best story of one beautiful, smart little 2 1/2 year old.
