Black Friday and Christmas in July Sales This Weekend

Black Friday, the shopping craze the day after Thanksgiving is making a summer debut online. Today, July 23rdTarget.com is having the earliest Black Friday sale ever. According to Target.com, the online-only sale will offer an average of 40 percent off regular prices on apparel, electronics, toys, housewares, movies, music, books and more. Target’s sale competes with many retailers’ Christmas in July online and in-store promotions throughout this weekend where Sunday July 25th marks exactly six months till Christmas. This year, retailers are using Black Friday and Christmas in July as a preview of the great deals you can get before the holiday shopping season truly begins.

Target.com is offering:

Philips 47″ 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV for $699 ($300 off)

Philips BluRay Player $99.99 (42 percent off)

Clothing: dresses, tank tops and bathing suits $14.99-33.74 (25 percent off)

Other retailers having Christmas in July Sales this weekend include:

Colonial Candle, Extreme Halloween, Fitz and Floyd, Little Tikes, Perfumania.com, QVC, Sears and TaylorGifts.com. Kmart is having a Family and Friends sale on July 25th with an extra 5-20% off almost everything. Meanwhile, Toys R Us is also having a Cyber Monday Sale on July 26th.
